"I went to Black Diamond HD to get information on the different families in the HD line, with the intent of purchasing my first Harley Davidson. I met with Brian Johnson on the sales floor. Brian went above and beyond in guiding me through the models, based on my lifestyle, physical size, and even my wife's height (6'2"). After two days of test driving some models, asking a lot of questions, I found my Super Glide Custom. I added a windshield, sundowner seat, and backrest, which the service dept. gladly put on for me. "I had a problem with the DFO I had purchased at Black Diamond. The manufacturer sent a new one overnight. Mike in service went out of his way to get my bike in and get the new DFO installed. TK and David, the service techs, went above and beyond to get everything installed and working great. Shad worked with Dobeck to take care of the labor bill so it cost me nothing for all of the work. I can not thank everyone enough at Black Diamond for everything!! BTW, Craig in parts always goes out of his way to help me with any purchase or question I might have about parts. "We have been visiting several area H-D dealerships trying to find the best deal and the best service package possible. When we heard that Shad and Rodney had opened their own dealership in Marion, we just had to visit. Shad remembered me from when I rented bikes from the dealership he used to work at. Shad told us what pre-paid maintenance programs he was offering and told us when we were ready to buy to give him a call. So when the wife said it was time to buy I called Shad and said give me your best deal. Shad's deal was so good the wife agreed. So now we are the proud owners of a 2008 Suede Blue/Vivid Black Ultra Classic. "Anyone who is reading this....Black Diamond is the ONLY H-D dealership to deal with! We bought a 2008 Road King Classic. They had to search everywhere for this bike because we wanted a black one & they were scarce. Finally found it, & brought it in. We were out of there with her in minutes. "I have never been treated so well by any dealership car,boat,motorcycle ect.. as I was by your entire staff at Black Diamond. Rick was so helpful that I ended up buying two bikes in three weeks and poor April had to pull it all together. They delivered my bike to my front door almost two hours away and paper work was done on my back porch. When the bike arrived I had a question about an adjustment and Shad, the co-owner called me personally. I never had that happen before either. Bottom line-- I would never purchase a bike anywhere but Black Diamond no matter how far the drive is. Everyone there was concerned that I was happy. "March 2007, my husband and I bought a 2007 Softail from a HD dealer just up the road from Black Diamond. The bike was a lemon. We had multiple problems and complaints. The other dealership was unwilling to listen or help make it right. Luckily for us, Shad was our salesman. So when we heard he was now out on his own, we wanted to congratulate him. We rode the "hunk of junk" down to the grand opening in September. Shad remembered us immediately even on that busy day. "I just bought an 05 Heritage from Black Diamond. This is the second bike my husband and I have purchased from Shad. This one is mine, though!!!! Everyone was great with helping me. Being the typical woman, I kept changing my mind(I honestly couldn't help it, all the bikes were awesome). The staff was very patient and understanding. They kept telling me to take my time and pick the bike that I felt was perfect for me. Wanting to get the best deal I could, I went to several other dealerships and these guys cannot be beaten on the price. They are unbelievable! I just can't brag enough on these people.
